The Meinl Energy Wind Gongs are traditionally handcrafted in China using a special bronze alloy. These gongs are also known as Feng or Sun Gongs. Their shape is nearly flat, which allows the gong’s vibration to spread extremely widely while maintaining a long resonance. The sound character is predominantly deep, and when struck harder, it beautifully unfolds with rushing overtones. This gong comes with a beater matched to the gong size.
