The Meinl Tingsha is a classic hand cymbal, handcrafted in India. During meditation, they are struck at regular intervals to maintain concentration, but they are also used for Feng Shui, cleansing, healing, and harmonizing.

The special feature of this instrument is the tonal distance between the two cymbals. This interval is one octave higher than the alpha state of our brain. When we hear the tones each cymbal shares through its overtones and the jump between these two, it becomes easier to enter meditation.
