Pearl's new Rapid Lock HiHat clutches let you set up and tear down your HiHat in a flash. With a single press of a finger you can pull off the bottom section; then you simply push it back on and it locks into place. That not only speeds up cymbal changes—by eliminating a threaded connection the cymbal can't work loose. The top nut is secured with a thread-preserving set screw.
