Better than a round and well-made one

I've only been playing for three months. But I've also gained some experience with the double bass. With a classic round (Roland) bass, I always felt like I wasn't sitting properly. With the Ergo Rider, you automatically sit in the right position and your legs don't go numb. The hydraulics help you make quick micro adjustments to the height to find the perfect position.
Good, sturdy workmanship. The cushion rotates freely with very little resistance, which is intentional. You have to like it—I think it's good. I feel like the chair automatically rotates into the most ergonomic position, which probably is easier on the knees. The height can be adjusted more than sufficiently. I'm 1.80 m tall and weigh 75 kg. I'm satisfied.
