The Sela Symphonic Gongs are masterfully handcrafted instruments. Each symphonic gong is a unique visual piece and is made in Spain. The larger the model, the deeper and more voluminous the sound when struck. Each model comes with a cotton protective cover that allows you to shield the gong from external influences like dust even when hanging.
The Sela Symphonic Gong features a traditional shape with a rim bent backward. It is darkened at the outer edge and shines with a golden glow in the center. Its characteristic look with many shimmering color nuances results from the intense heating during tuning and shaping of the gong.
Gongs are an integral part of many cultures worldwide and produce calming, long-lasting, esoteric sounds. Depending on how hard, where, and with what the Sela Symphonic Gong is struck, different frequency ranges come to the forefront. It can be played far more versatile than it initially appears.
