Die sandgestrahlte Oberfläche gibt der Vintage Serie nicht nur ein außergewöhnlich mattes Finish, sondern auch ein weiches Spielgefühl für eine optimale Spielkontrolle. Ihr tiefer, dunkler und leicht verwaschener Grundcharakter bietet einen unverwechselbaren, trashigen Klang für nahezu alle Musikstile und Lautstärken.
Die Kombination aus der sandgestrahlten Oberfläche, großen Hammerschlägen und dem dünnen Material ergibt einen sehr weichen Attack und einen außergewöhnlich trockenen und dunklen "Wash".
