Pearl has condensed 70 years of award-winning craftsmanship into a new set: the Pearl Decade Maple. As the first set in its price class it offers shells made from 100% maple with a lacquered finish at an incredibly affordable price.

The six-ply, 5.4 mm-thick shells of the Decade Maple series set it apart. Each shell, cross-glued with Pearl's Shell Superior Technology, responds lightning-fast to every strike. The thin yet sturdy drums deliver resonant highs and thunderous lows.

With upgraded features like the 830 hardware series, the P-930 bass drum pedal and a snare drum, it appeals equally to advanced players and professionals. Pearl's Opti-Loc tom mounting system holds every tom rock-solid while remaining vibration-neutral. The Decade Maple also comes equipped with lightweight, sturdy mounts, stepless Uni-Lock tom holders and R-40 Air Suspension floor tom feet.

The 5 bags are designed to transport a bass drum, a floor tom, 2 mounted toms and a snare drum. The zippers let you stow the shells quickly, easily and comfortably. The attached handles give each bag a secure grip for comfortable transport. Of course, the bags are also suitable for tidy storage of your drum shells when the kit isn't in use.
