Weighted Hammer Keyboard with Touch Sensitivity
The weighted keyboard of the DP-17 with genuine hammer action simulates the playing feel of an acoustic piano with traditional mechanics as authentically as possible for the pianist. The 88 keys feature a certain "natural" resistance when pressed down, just like classic acoustic pianos. The keyboard is also touch-sensitive, meaning the tones sound louder or softer depending on how hard you press a key.
128-Note Polyphony
Thanks to the 128-note polyphony, the electric piano can play up to 128 tones simultaneously. This wide range of available tones allows the player to use voices from various music styles, from classical to rock, anytime with stereo sound.

The selection of 128 high-quality sounds allows for different emphases in the melody and thus the creation of very different moods. The pianist can enjoy plenty of room for experimentation. From piano to organ to string sounds, the digital piano offers a selection of classic voices.
Accompaniment Automation with 600 Styles
To keep things exciting with the DP-17, a full band or complete orchestra is always ready to accompany the pianist. This is made possible by the integrated accompaniment automation, which follows the chords played with the left hand and adapts independently. In total, the McGrey digital piano offers 600 different styles across a wide range of music genres.
The "Dual" and "Split" Functions
With the "Dual" function, you can layer two voices—such as strings and piano—on top of each other, combining them. This easily creates a particularly impressive, full sound. "Split" divides your keyboard into two separate zones. You can assign these two zones individually with different voices and, for example, play strings with your left hand and piano with your right.
Metronome and Headphone Connections
To help you keep the right beat and tempo while practicing, the DP-17 includes an integrated metronome. Both the tempo and volume of the metronome can be adjusted as desired. Furthermore, the DP-17 has two headphone jacks, ensuring you can practice and play anytime without disturbing neighbors. The second headphone jack also allows silent listening to your piano playing.
The "Soft", "Sostenuto" and "Sustain" Pedals
The DP-17 digital piano offers three pedals just like an acoustic grand piano, allowing you to specifically influence the sound of the pieces you play. The soft pedal is on the left and is played with the left foot, as is the sostenuto pedal in the middle. The sustain pedal on the right is usually used most often. It lets all tones ring out, while the middle sostenuto pedal only sustains already played tones. The left soft pedal reduces the volume of the struck tones and creates a softer sound.
Includes Stickers for Additional Functions
Some functions like the metronome, accompaniment automation, or effects are accessed via certain keys on the keyboard. Since these keys are not labeled separately, a separate sticker is included. This can be attached to the instrument to make these functions easier to find.

Comfortable Stereo Headphones
The KH-238 delivers a full, balanced sound with rich bass reproduction and clear highs. It offers plenty of volume yet clean and precise stereo imaging. Naturally, the softly padded, wide headband is length adjustable. The extension provides 12 steps per side for optimal fit. For even more comfort, the earcups are mounted on two-axis pivots. The thick, soft padding of the over-ear earcups also provides good external noise isolation. The volume control integrated into the cable is always at hand, simplifying use with a PC or mp3 player. The 3.5 mm stereo jack plug delivers excellent transmission properties, and a nickel-plated 6.3 mm stereo jack adapter is also included.
