The Sela Maestro Edition is a high-end flamenco cajon for demanding musicians who value precise response, dynamic playability and a distinctive appearance. The soundboard is veneered with fine olive wood, whose striking grain makes each instrument a unique piece.

Typical for a flamenco cajon, the integrated guitar-string system delivers a dry, finely resolving snare sound with fast response. That yields brilliant slaps, articulated ghost notes and powerful grooves with authentic flamenco character.

For maximum flexibility, the snare effect can be easily tailored to personal preference. Two adjustment screws on the underside let you change the tension of the guitar strings — from a subtle, controlled rattle to a present, cutting snare sound.

The sturdy birch body provides a warm, punchy bass and, together with the finely tuned soundboard, forms the basis for a balanced, versatile tone — on stage, in the studio or during unplugged sessions.
