Meinl Tango Cajon from the Artisan Edition!

The Tango Line of the Artisan Cajons features two groups of three pre-tuned steel cajon strings each, creating a crisp snare effect. The strings are hand-installed by José "Pepote" Hernández Diaz, the master cajon maker.

Rounded corners and thumb notches on the frontplate and resonance body enhance playing comfort and tone. The 7-ply, 9mm thick body made of Baltic birch delivers a particularly clear and warm sound. The cajons are available with Limba and Light Eucalyptus frontplates and are crafted in Spain.
