Josef Lídl at Kirstein
Josef Lídl is one of the traditional manufacturers of brass instruments from the Czech Republic. Since 1892, instruments have been produced in the companys own manufactory, combining classic craftsmanship with modern manufacturing technologies. The brand is aimed at musicians who value traditional instrument construction, easy response and a characteristic Bohemian sound.
The Josef Lídl range includes various brass instruments for different musical requirements. These include trumpets, flugelhorns, French horns, double horns, tenor horns, baritones and tubas. This makes the brand suitable for brass bands, ensembles, traditional Czech and Moravian music as well as other applications in concert and orchestral settings.
Which products does Josef Lídl offer?
Josef Lídl trumpets and flugelhorns are designed for clear tone production and responsive playing characteristics. In particular, the rotary valve instruments follow traditional European construction principles and are suitable for musicians who prefer this distinctive playing feel.
The deep brass instruments represent an important focus of the brand. Tenor horns, baritones and tubas provide a full and resonant sound that is especially valued in brass bands and traditional ensembles. With the Moldau F Tuba, Josef Lídl has also developed a modern model that reflects the manufacturers experience in the field of low brass instruments.
Josef Lídl for brass bands and traditional music
Josef Lídl instruments are particularly suitable for musicians in brass bands, music clubs and ensembles with traditional repertoires. The typical Bohemian sound character and handcrafted production make these instruments an interesting choice for players looking for a classic European sound.
When choosing the right instrument, factors such as sound, construction, playing feel and intended use are important. A flugelhorn, for example, fulfils different tonal roles than a trumpet, while tenor horns, baritones and tubas provide the foundation of the low brass section. Competent specialist advice can help you find the right model for your individual requirements.
