Step back in time with the Fender Custom Shop 1960 Precision Bass Relic. This vintage-inspired bass authentically captures the look, feel, and tone of the original 1960 Precision Bass model.
The two-piece body of selected alder and the one-piece quartersawn maple neck are finished in nitrocellulose lacquer, giving the instrument the worn look of a well-loved instrument that has spent countless long nights on stage. The maple neck provides vintage character with its 1960 Precision Bass Oval "C" back shape, 3A rosewood fingerboard and Jescar Vintage frets.
Powered by a Custom Shop hand-wound '62 Precision Bass pickup, this bass delivers the archetypal sound that shaped an entire generation of music. The 4-saddle vintage-style bridge ensures rock-solid intonation, while the bone nut and vintage-style disc string tree add old-school flair.
Take a trip back to 1960 with the Fender Custom Shop '60 Precision Bass Relic. Other premium features include a 7.25" fingerboard radius, vintage Precision Bass wiring, a 4-ply tortoiseshell pickguard, vintage-style tuning machines, and a deluxe hard shell case.
