Ashdown The Saint - Sound Meets Character!
The Ashdown The Saint is a premium electric bass that blends classic tonal aesthetics with modern build quality. Its P-J Alnico pickups deliver a wide sonic palette, while roasted maple adds stability, resonance and a refined playing feel. With its elegant gloss finish and chrome vintage hardware, this bass is more than an instrument — it’s a true statement.
Versatile Tone from P-J Alnico Pickups
The P-J Alnico configuration combines the best of both worlds: the P-style pickup delivers thick, full low end, while the J-style pickup provides clear definition and strong presence. Together they create a sound that is both warm and dynamic — ideal for rock, funk, jazz or pop. The passive electronics with CTS pots allow sensitive tone shaping and precise control over volume and tone.
Stability, Comfort and Playability
The roasted maple neck and fingerboard are not only visually striking but also provide outstanding stability and long-term durability. With a 34" scale length and 20 frets, the Saint plays exceptionally smoothly. The high-quality finish gives a comfortably slick feel, perfect for precise fingering and fast runs.
Solid Construction with Premium Components
The resonant poplar body offers a balanced tonal foundation with clear attack and warm sustain. Chrome vintage tuners and classic black dot inlays emphasize the authentic design, while the gloss finish makes the bass a real eye-catcher. Every detail is carefully crafted to ensure maximum reliability on stage and in the studio.
Design with Style and Soul
The Saint series from Ashdown stands for timeless aesthetics and musical expressiveness. The combination of modern technology and vintage charm creates an instrument that delivers top-quality performance for both professional musicians and ambitious players. Its elegant silhouette and thoughtful ergonomics make it a true performer with character.
