The 34" scale provides familiar handling while the compound fretboard radius supports both bowed and plucked techniques. The compact maple body offers a pleasantly light and ergonomic playing feel and gives the instrument a distinctive look.

Despite its compact format, the UB delivers a surprisingly full, airy acoustic tone. The 5-piece maple/walnut neck ensures stability, the Jatoba fretboard supports a crystal-clear mid and high profile, and the maple body contributes bright, transparent fundamental tones.

Characteristic Upright Feel Through Piezo Technology

The integrated AeroSilk piezo pickup, combined with the tuned piezo active tone control, produces an authentic upright playing feel. The AeroSilk MR5 bridge with specially developed piezo saddles supports both pizzicato and arco, offering a wide expressive range.
