The Microtubes 900v2 is a 900-watt amplifier, equipped with a pure analog preamp, a new superior Darkglass high-performance Class-D power section and a digital impulse-response emulator for the DI output or headphones.

The First Thing You'll Probably Notice About the Microtubes 900v2 Is the Unusual Layout of the Controls:

On the right side you'll find the clean section, which forms the foundation of your sound. It features a master volume control and an active 6-band EQ. Alongside the obligatory low and treble controls you'll find 250Hz, 500Hz, 1.5kHz and 3kHz sliders. With these four dedicated mid controls you have full control over the amp's character.

On the left side, next to the input jack, sits the Microtubes Engine, which functions as an additional channel. It takes your clean sound to the next level by adding everything from subtle tube break-up, overtones and natural compression to intense, crushing distortion.

The Microtubes engine can be accessed from the front panel or via its own (optional) digitally controlled intelligent footswitch, housed in an elegant, laser-engraved unibody enclosure.

A highly requested new feature is the cabinet simulation, which is based on an improved version of the cab-sim module. The module has three slots for high-resolution impulse responses that are active for both the headphone output and the balanced XLR DI output.
