The Darkglass Alpha·Omega 500 raises the bar for modern bass amplifiers: with 500 watts of power, a fully analog preamp and a highly efficient Class-D power amp, this unit delivers a sound that cuts through in any live or studio situation. Two independent overdrive circuits (Alpha and Omega) give you maximum flexibility from subtle saturation to aggressive distortion. The graphic 6-band equalizer enables extremely precise tone shaping — so you can tailor your sound exactly to your preferences and the current setup.
Analog Circuitry & Overdrive Variety
The combination of an analog preamp and the two Darkglass signature overdrive circuits (Alpha and Omega) gives you access to a wide sonic spectrum, ranging from clean to heavily distorted. Use the Drive, Blend, Level and Mod controls to dial in the overdrive character with pinpoint accuracy.
Modern Features for Studio & Stage
The built-in compressor provides consistent dynamics, while the bass and treble boosters (Growl/Bite) add extra punch when you want it. Three built-in cabinet simulations deliver professional DI tones for recording or in-ear monitoring — selectable via the XLR output or headphones. Over USB-C you can load additional cabinet impulses and tweak your parameters.
Compact Powerhouse with Smart Connectivity
With compact dimensions (23 x 18 x 7.1 cm) and weighing just 2.4 kg, the Alpha·Omega 500 is ideal for musicians on the move. Effects loop, Aux In, headphone output and an input for an optional footswitch provide maximum everyday flexibility.
Darkglass Suite
With the desktop version of the Darkglass Suite you can select and use all impulse responses from the library and also load your own. You can also control the amplifier channel settings for the Super Intelligent Footswitch.
