Thanks to its user-friendly controls and cloud-storable presets, you can easily switch between different sounds on the go. Its tonal versatility makes it ideal for live gigs and rehearsals across genres.
Top Panel Features
Input
Connect your instrument to this jack using a standard 6.3 mm (1/4") instrument cable.
Headphone Output
Plug in your headphones and enjoy an IR emulator that simulates your cabinet sound.
Preset
Press the Preset button to cycle through Presets 1–5 and a bypass signal. Hold the button to save the current preset.
Input
Controls the analog input gain. Press to enable/disable the effects loop for the preset.
Comp
Controls the dynamic compression. Makeup gain is adjusted automatically. Press to select compressor positions OFF/Pre/Post Drive.
Drive
Controls the gain of the selected drive mode. Press to choose between OFF/Leo Bass/Vintage Microtubes/Microtubes B3K/Alpha·Omega. Press and hold to adjust the noise gate threshold.
Tone
Controls the drive tone/octaver filter. Press to select which control is active.
Level
Controls the drive level/tweeter level. Press to select which control is active.
Blend
Controls the mix between drive and octaver. Press to choose which control is active.
Preset
Controls the presets' volume. Press to toggle between the 7 IR slots/IR bypass for Post DI & headphone output.
Graphic EQ Section
Preset-specific Darkglass EQ. ±12 dB at Low Shelf/250 Hz/500 Hz/1.5 kHz/3 kHz/High Shelf.
Master
Controls the overall speaker and headphone output level. Press to mute the sound and activate the tuner. Press and hold to initiate a Bluetooth connection. (Audio + Suite).
Darkglass Suite
The Infinity Combo ships with five versatile factory presets. The Darkglass Suite isn’t required to use the Infinity Combo, but we highly recommend it!
The Darkglass Suite brings out the best in the Infinity Combo by providing an interface where you can tweak the signal chain for each preset.
With the iOS or Android version of the Darkglass Suite you can create, edit, share and apply presets.
Rear Panel
AC Power Switch
Turn the combo monster on.
AC Power Inlet
Plug the mains lead here to power the amplifier. 100–230 VAC, 50–60 Hz. Set the voltage selector to the correct position before turning the amp on!
MIDI In
Standard DIN connector. Use the 7-pin MIDI connector only with the Darkglass MIDI footswitch and a 5-pin plug for other MIDI devices.
USB
The USB-C port enables the combo's USB audio interface functions and allows connection to the Darkglass Suite. USB MIDI In/Out is also supported.
Post DI Out
Use this output to send your signal to a mixing console, mic preamp, interface, etc. This output delivers the processed signal with or without IR.
Ground Lift
Use this switch to disconnect the ground on the XLR outputs. If you hear hum on your DI signal, try toggling this.
Pre DI Out
Use this output to send your signal to a mixing console, mic preamp, interface, etc. This output delivers the unprocessed signal.
Line Out
Use this output to send your signal to the line input of a console, interface, etc. This output delivers the processed signal without IR. You can also chain multiple combos via this output!
Line In
This input accepts +4 dBu line-level signals from an amp modeler, keyboard, etc. Use this input when connecting Darkglass combos together.
Send
Use this output to send the signal to your external effects gear.
Return
Use this input to receive the signal back from your external effects gear.
External Speaker
Use this connector to hook the amp up to an external speaker cabinet. The SpeakON combo jack accepts SpeakON or 1/4" speaker cables. Minimum load impedance is 8 ohms. Minimum rated power must be 250 watts.
