Yamaha RX300A 5.2 AV Home Cinema Receiver - Returned Item (Condition: Very Good)

Impressive Home Cinema With State-Of-The-Art AV Technology!

The Yamaha RX300A is a powerful 5.2-channel AV receiver for movies, TV series, music and gaming. With Dolby Atmos, DTS Virtual:X, HDMI 2.1 and support for 4K/120 Hz and 8K/60 Hz, this home cinema receiver combines precise sound reproduction with high-resolution video transmission. Bluetooth 5.3 multipoint, automatic room correction and intuitive operation make it the versatile hub for your modern entertainment system.

Flexible 5.2-Channel Surround Sound

The five integrated power amps deliver 70 watts each at 8 ohms across 20 Hz to 20,000 Hz, 0.09% total harmonic distortion, in two-channel operation. Alternatively, up to 145 watts at 6 ohms (measured at 1 kHz) with 10% total harmonic distortion are available in single-channel mode. The Yamaha receiver is suitable for classic 5.2 speaker configurations and supports two active subwoofers via separate subwoofer pre-outs. Thanks to 3.2.2-channel flexibility, you can also add ceiling speakers or upward-firing speakers for immersive height effects.

Dolby Atmos And Virtual Soundscapes

Dolby Atmos creates a three-dimensional sound field where effects are perceived not only from the front, rear and sides but also from above. DTS Virtual:X delivers immersive spatial effects even without permanently installed height speakers. Other supported audio formats include Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital and DTS. Sound modes such as Movie, Music, Pure Direct, Straight, All Channel Stereo, 2 Channel Stereo and Night are available for different content.

HDMI 2.1 For 8K-TV And Gaming

Four HDMI inputs and one HDMI output let you connect a game console, streaming player, Blu-ray player and other AV components. The RX300A processes video signals up to 8K/60 Hz or 4K/120 Hz, making it suitable for compatible next-gen consoles and gaming PCs. VRR supports variable refresh rates, ALLM automatically activates a low-latency mode, and QMS reduces interruptions when switching frame rates.

The HDMI output supports eARC and ARC to send TV audio over a single HDMI cable. Additional features include HDCP 2.3, CEC, Auto Lip Sync, Deep Color and x.v. Color. For vivid images, the AV receiver handles HDR, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Hybrid Log-Gamma.

Automatic Adjustment To Your Room

The supplied calibration microphone analyzes the room acoustics and the connected speakers. The integrated room correction then automatically adjusts key sound parameters to the listening environment. This produces balanced and precise playback even in acoustically challenging living spaces. Features like Dialog Level, Subwoofer Trim, Extra Bass and Lip Sync let you fine-tune settings to your personal preferences.

Bluetooth Multipoint And USB Playback

Via Bluetooth 5.3 you can stream music, podcasts and audiobooks wirelessly from your smartphone, tablet or laptop. Bluetooth multipoint allows two devices to be paired simultaneously, so you can conveniently switch between audio sources. The USB port plays MP3, MPEG-4 AAC, WMA and WAV files from compatible mass storage devices and can also be used for firmware updates.

Versatile Connections And Intuitive Operation

Besides the HDMI interfaces, the Yamaha RX300A has two analog line inputs (Cinch), one optical digital input and one coaxial digital input. Five sturdy speaker terminals, two subwoofer outputs and a headphone output provide flexible connection options. The built-in FM tuner expands playback options with traditional radio reception.

Four scene memories let you recall preferred inputs and sound settings instantly. The on-screen menu and included remote control make the AV receiver easy to configure. The A.R.T. Wedge, a centrally positioned fifth foot, reduces unwanted cabinet vibrations and supports focused sound reproduction.
