Wireless All-Weather Sound for the Garden!
Whether on the terrace while relaxing, in hotels and restaurants, in amusement parks and on playgrounds, at your next garden party or any other outdoor event: the new McGrey WPL-660 BT 360° speaker makes outdoor music enjoyment effortless. If you value clean sound reproduction, even sound distribution, a weather-resistant enclosure and plenty of power, the WPL-660 BT garden speaker won't disappoint. The compact outdoor speaker delivers excellent coverage whether it's sunny or raining.
Bluetooth Connection
It couldn't be easier: once the speaker is connected to the mains, it automatically enters pairing mode. You can then connect immediately from your smartphone or tablet and you're good to go! The speaker's sound can be adjusted via your playback device's equalizer settings to match the local acoustics. Music playback is only possible via a Bluetooth connection; the power cable is used solely to connect to a 230V mains supply.
Great Sound
The robust and durable WPL-660 BT 2-way speaker delivers 120 watts (peak) — plenty of volume to provide solid musical coverage and keep the good vibes going. A 6.5" (165 mm) polypropylene cone woofer and a 1" (25 mm) titanium dome tweeter provide excellent, balanced detail with very clean, precise and clear sound reproduction.
True Wireless Function
If you pair the two speakers with each other via Bluetooth, music will play from both units. That achieves even more uniform sound coverage across larger areas. The neat part: control still happens from a single mobile device.
360° Sound Distribution
The McGrey WPL-660 BT is equipped with a first-rate, precisely calculated sound diffuser that ensures even all-round sound distribution with balanced tonality. A single speaker is therefore sufficient to evenly cover larger rooms or areas, such as a garden including the terrace. That gives the WPL-660 BT clear advantages over conventional speakers that are tied to a fixed radiation angle.
Weatherproof Enclosure
The sturdy, weatherproof plastic enclosure of the compact McGrey speaker makes it a long-lasting and reliable companion. A stable aluminium grille protects the driver from external impacts.
Water- and UV-Resistant
With the UV-resistant and waterproof garden speaker you can celebrate not only under blue skies and in dry conditions, but also at the pool and in the rain. The IP56 rating indicates the suitability of the McGrey WPL-660 BT for outdoor use. The so-called IP code (International Protection Code) characterises a device's suitability under certain temperatures, humidity, vapours, dust and other conditions. IP56 means the WPL-660 BT is protected against strong water jets and the enclosure also provides full protection against contact. Furthermore, this device can withstand dust, even in amounts that would normally be harmful.

Variant McGrey WPL-660GN BT 360° Outdoor Speaker with Bluetooth Pair Green
This rating has been translated automatically. Original language
I was looking for a pair of outdoor speakers for a terrace with dining area and pool of about 100 m2 to distribute the music evenly without having to set the sound too loud.
The minuses:
The Bluetooth connection between the two speakers (about 6 meters) is not stable, a garden set or other obstacle, and the signal is lost, resulting in an unpleasant voice message sent by both speakers one after the other (and the same when reconnecting).
When you place the speaker on the floor, it rests on screw heads holding a plate (probably an access point to the electrical connections). The speaker is very stable and has a very good sound. 4 plastic bumpers would be more comfortable and less disturbing when the speaker is moved.
The maximum volume is not very high. It is sufficient for family use, but it is too low for a party with more people.
The smell of chalky plastic is suspicious when the summer sun shines on the speaker.
The plus points :
Despite the lack of power, the sound quality is very good.
The speakers are easy to use, there is only one button per speaker that needs to be short pressed to connect the phone or other devices and long pressed to switch from one speaker to another.
I like the robust, simple look that doesn't stand out and looks good on a patio or in a garden.
The object is not heavy and easy to move, but did not move on an evening with strong gusts of wind.
In short, if you want to have two outlets in the right places, not have a festival and stay friends with your neighbors and enjoy good sound, the price/performance ratio is pretty good.
I've had them for four days and am generally satisfied.
