Wireless All-Weather Sound for the Garden!
Whether relaxing on the terrace, in hotels and gastronomy, in amusement parks and on playgrounds, at the next garden party or any other outdoor event: the new McGrey WPL-660 BT 360° speaker leaves nothing standing between you and enjoying music outdoors. If you value clean sound reproduction, even sound distribution, a weatherproof enclosure and plenty of power, the WPL-660 BT garden speaker won't disappoint. The compact outdoor speaker delivers excellent coverage both in sunshine and in rain.
Bluetooth Connection
It couldn't be easier: as soon as the speaker is connected to mains power, it automatically enters pairing mode. You can then connect immediately with your smartphone or tablet, and you're good to go! You can tailor the speaker's sound via the equalizer settings on your playback device to suit the local acoustics. Music playback is only possible via a Bluetooth connection; the power cable merely connects the unit to a 230V mains supply.
Super Sound
The robust, long-lasting WPL-660 BT 2-way speaker delivers 120 watts (Peak), providing enough volume for solid musical coverage and plenty of good cheer. A 6.5" (165 mm) polypropylene cone woofer and a 1" (25 mm) titanium dome tweeter provide excellent, balanced signal resolution with very clean, precise and clear sound reproduction.
True Wireless Function
Pair the two speakers via Bluetooth and the music will play from both units. That creates even more uniform sound distribution over larger areas. The clever part: control still happens from a single mobile device.
360° Sound Distribution
The McGrey WPL-660 BT is equipped with a top-quality, precisely calculated sound diffuser that ensures even all-around sound distribution with balanced tone. That means a single speaker is sufficient to evenly cover larger rooms or areas, such as a garden including the terrace. The WPL-660 BT therefore offers clear advantages over conventional speakers, which are bound to a fixed dispersion angle.
Weatherproof Enclosure
The compact McGrey speaker's rugged, weatherproof plastic enclosure turns it into a long-term, reliable companion. A sturdy aluminum grille protects the driver from external impact.
Water- and UV-Resistant
The UV-resistant, waterproof garden speaker can be enjoyed not only under blue skies and in dry conditions, but also at the pool and in the rain. The IP56 protection rating indicates the WPL-660 BT's suitability for outdoor use. The so-called IP code (International Protection Code) describes an electronic device's suitability under certain temperatures, humidity, vapors, dust and other conditions. IP56 means that the WPL-660 BT is protected against heavy water jets and that the enclosure also offers full protection against contact. Furthermore, dust—even in amounts that would normally be harmful—cannot harm this device.

I was looking for a pair of outdoor speakers for a terrace with dining area and pool of about 100 m2 to distribute the music evenly without having to set the sound too loud.
The minuses:
The Bluetooth connection between the two speakers (about 6 meters) is not stable, a garden set or other obstacle, and the signal is lost, resulting in an unpleasant voice message sent by both speakers one after the other (and the same when reconnecting).
When you place the speaker on the floor, it rests on screw heads holding a plate (probably an access point to the electrical connections). The speaker is very stable and has a very good sound. 4 plastic bumpers would be more comfortable and less disturbing when the speaker is moved.
The maximum volume is not very high. It is sufficient for family use, but it is too low for a party with more people.
The smell of chalky plastic is suspicious when the summer sun shines on the speaker.
The plus points :
Despite the lack of power, the sound quality is very good.
The speakers are easy to use, there is only one button per speaker that needs to be short pressed to connect the phone or other devices and long pressed to switch from one speaker to another.
I like the robust, simple look that doesn't stand out and looks good on a patio or in a garden.
The object is not heavy and easy to move, but did not move on an evening with strong gusts of wind.
In short, if you want to have two outlets in the right places, not have a festival and stay friends with your neighbors and enjoy good sound, the price/performance ratio is pretty good.
I've had them for four days and am generally satisfied.
