Very Lightweight Djembe With Rich Tone!
XDrum delivers the sound of West Africa in a modern, lightweight version. The use of a durable synthetic head and the easy-to-use tuning system make this goblet drum a popular and hassle-free percussion instrument.
Shell Made of PVC
The shell of the djembe is produced in a patented process from PVC plastic, which makes the entire drum significantly lighter than its wooden relatives. However, it is by no means inferior to them in terms of sound: full bass and crisp slaps can be produced just as well as sensitive strokes. The lower rim is fitted with rubber to prevent scratches on the floor.
Made in Bali!
The percussion instruments of the XDrum Bali series are traditionally handcrafted.
Simple Tuning System
Unlike traditional djembes, which are tightened with ropes, this instrument features 6 tuning screws, similar to those used on bongos or congas. This allows even non-experts to achieve perfect tuning quickly and easily. The required wrench is, of course, included.
The Drumhead
The XDrum djembe is fitted with a synthetic head that is visually and acoustically hardly distinguishable from a goatskin. The advantage of the synthetic head is that it is much less sensitive to temperature changes and humidity.
