This console makes life a lot easier on small stages, at home and in the party room: the B-803 mixer provides channels for microphones, instruments and MP3 players. As special highlights, a Bluetooth receiver and a USB port are also on board. To fully meet professional demands, the main mix is output in XLR format. Unmatched in this price range!
Channels 1 to 6
These channels feature XLR/jack sockets to connect a microphone or an instrument. For use with, for example, high-impedance guitars, a Hi-Z switch is even integrated. Do you have a condenser microphone that requires phantom power? No problem! Press the button and you're ready to go! For sound shaping there is a 2-band equalizer and an echo effect. The effect level and other settings can be conveniently adjusted via the yellow knobs. The peak indicator next to the level control warns of clipping.
Stereo Channel 7/8
For use with electronic instruments such as keyboards and samplers there is a dedicated channel with jack inputs. For quick adjustment of the input level a pad switch is installed directly under the jack sockets.
USB Playback
DJs will love it: a small USB stick full of music is enough to play to your guests all evening. Extensive transport functions allow easy handling of the MP3 player, which is intuitively operated via the crisp LCD display. A laptop or PC can also serve as the sound source; however, no data is transferred—only the raw audio signal is routed to the USB input.
USB Recording
A really simple and effective way to capture the evening for posterity is the recording function. The main mix—that is, all connected instruments and microphones—is saved as an MP3 file in stereo format on a USB stick. With a suitable USB cable this stereo track can of course also be recorded with a DAW on your computer.
