Previously I had Sigma and Cort guitars, not basic ones but clearly cheaper models. I wanted to step-up but still find a guitar in the affordable price range. Amongst others (Taylor, Takamine, Yamaha) I found this Martin and became very curious: how come a solid body Martin can be sold below EUR 1.000?
After the usual background check (reading some reviews, watching youtube) I decided to order the guitar from Germany (kirstein.de).
The package arrived to Hungary within 5 days in mint condition and after opening the box I already knew I made the right decision.
Beautiful, heavy (literally!) built guitar in a very durable semi-soft travel case. Sapele looks great.
More importantly the guitar feels very comfortable and sounds great! Sustain is fantastic! You just don't want to stop playing!
Some concerns:
- For fingerstyle could be a bit louder, but c'mon, this is not a dreadnought (much more comfortable by the way).
- Electronics are ok, but nothing extra.
Personally I have no problems with these, all-in-all great product, great sounding guitar, would never sell it!
