Yamaha P-525WH Stage Piano White - Return (Packaging Damage)

Yamaha P-525WH - The Flagship Model Of The P-Series With Authentic Features!

The top model among the portable digital pianos of the P series. This model features wooden keys, CFX and Bösendorfer voices and delivers the possibilities of a real piano in an elegant design—perfect for home playing or small live gigs. Compatible with the optional LP-1/FC35 three-pedal unit.

The P-525 is the top model of the world-famous Yamaha P series of compact digital pianos and offers an authentic playing feel, exquisite sound and further enhanced instrument voices. The piano voices are two world-class concert grands: the Yamaha CFX and the Bösendorfer Imperial. Speaker power as well as the variety and quality of voices, including organs and electric pianos, have been significantly improved compared to the predecessor P-515.

The much-praised NWX wooden-key action has been replaced by the GrandTouch-S keyboard with 88 keys. This brings the playing experience even closer to the touch and feel of a grand piano. With the Registration Memory function to store and recall settings and other useful features for live performance, the P-525 is also ideal as a stage piano.

The GrandTouch-S Keyboard Delivers A Realistic Playing Feel

The P-525 is equipped with the highly playable GrandTouch-S keyboard, the same type found in Yamaha's top Clavinova digital pianos. The keyboard's touch comes as close to a grand piano as possible.

The GrandTouch-S keyboard also simulates the tonal variations that arise from subtle differences in attack strength, velocity and strike position. The white keys are made from solid wood and their laminated construction makes them resistant to warping and particularly durable.

Recreation Of Two World-Class Concert Grand Tones In A Compact Body

The P-525 is equipped with the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial voices. The CFX is characterized by brilliant highs and powerful bass, while the Imperial delivers a warm tone known worldwide as the "Viennese sound."

Despite its compact size, the P-525 offers the full experience of the differing tonal characters of these two great concert grands.

Play Realistic Interpretations

The P-525 offers improved organ, electric piano and other keyboard instrument voices.

The engineers who made these refinements are experts in the sounds of electric organs and electric pianos and the musical cultures tied to them. Their goal was to faithfully and highly accurately reproduce familiar sounds—the click effect of an organ, the distinctive tone of Leslie speakers, the reverb, distortion and other effects of electric pianos that shaped pop music in the '70s and '80s. That results in a realistic experience that makes you feel like you are playing these instruments for real.

Equipped With Practical Live-Performance Features

The P-525 offers the Registration Memory function for storing and recalling settings, which is highly useful for live gigs in cafés, bars and other small venues. You can program all voices and rhythms conveniently at home and then recall them quickly and easily at the venue. It also makes switching sounds mid-performance simple.

Other features include Sound Boost and an adjustable EQ to ensure the piano sits well in a band mix and sounds its best with other instruments.

Full, Clear, Natural Sound

The two-way speakers reproduce everything from powerful bass to delicate highs clearly and without distortion or noise. We've angled the speakers slightly toward the player so you enjoy a pleasant sound image while playing.

The speaker enclosure has also been improved. It features flared bass-reflex ports and proprietary sound-absorbing channels to significantly reduce noise, vibration and other unwanted sounds that typically come from speaker boxes. This gives you a higher sound quality during your performances.

The P-525 is also the first digital piano to feature an FIR filter. The FIR filter fine-tunes the phase of the sound so that listeners in the same room hear a natural, pleasant sound as the player does.

Timbres

The P-525 offers 542 distinct voices, including 44 carefully developed instruments as well as 18 Drum/SFX kits and 480 XG voices. Among the 44 voices developed for the P-525 are Yamaha's CFX concert grand and 11 additional piano voices, 9 electric piano voices and 6 organ voices, plus harpsichord, strings, guitar and other unique voices. These realistic, high-quality simulations of characteristic instrument tones give you access to a wide palette of musical expression with a single instrument.

Songs

The P-525 comes with 71 built-in songs, including 21 demo songs suitable for each voice such as grand, electric piano, various organs, harpsichord, including jazz organ, electric clavichord, vibraphone, etc. We recommend listening to these demo songs that cover a wide range of styles, from simple classical pieces and baroque masterpieces to R&B, pop and more. They give you an idea of the musical possibilities the P-525 offers for your expression.

Practice With Headphones

One of the biggest advantages of a digital piano is that you can practice with headphones. That solves the problem of disturbing family members or neighbours while you practice, and it means others don't have to hear your performance until it's ready.

Binaural Sampling

With binaural sampling, microphones are placed near the player's ears to capture the sound of the Yamaha CFX during sampling. When you wear headphones while playing a P-525 with the CFX Grand voice, the sound appears to come from a grand piano right in front of you, even though it actually comes from the left and right headphone speakers. The result is completely different from stereo piano and so immersive you forget you're wearing headphones.

Bluetooth® Audio & MIDI

The P-525 features built-in Bluetooth® audio so you can pair the instrument with your Bluetooth®-enabled smartphone or tablet to play your favourite music through the instrument's speakers while you play along. No external adapter is required. In addition, the integrated Bluetooth® MIDI functionality enables wireless use of the Smart Pianist app.

Easily Record Videos & Music

If you want to record a video of your performance and share it on platforms like YouTube or TikTok, Rec'n'Share is the right solution. Connect the P-525 to your smart device and record video with audio at the same time to complete your video.
