Yamaha CVP-701 PE Clavinova Digital Piano Black High-Gloss - 1A Showroom Model (Condition: Like New, in Original Packaging)

Two Of The World's Best Concert Grand Pianos In One Piano

Clavinova digital pianos are especially known for their incomparable piano sound, authentic touch and fast key repetition. The new Clavinova CVP-700 series also combines the sounds of two world-class grand pianos — the Yamaha CFX, Yamaha's top concert grand, and the Bösendorfer Imperial — in one digital piano. Tuned to perfection by very experienced piano technicians and with individually sampled notes for every key, the new Clavinova series captures the unique character of these outstanding concert grands perfectly. Thanks to Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM), you get the full nuance of these acoustic instruments, with every subtle tonal detail reproduced.

To perfect the playing feel of an acoustic grand, a range of features has been combined, such as key surfaces made of synthetic ivory and the let-off (escapement) simulation. Linear-weighted hammers, key counterweights and the GP Response Damper Pedal further enhance the playing experience on the CVP-709.

All models come with an informative color display; the larger models in the series even feature a touch screen. The new Piano Room has been expanded and now includes additional keyboard instruments, including electric vintage pianos. In Session Mode you can invite three other musicians to accompany you in the Piano Room. They automatically follow your playing harmonically, either in Full-Keyboard mode or Split mode — and with the Dynamics Control function they even adjust their volume to the musical expression of your performance. In the new Piano Room you can even make a recording of your performance including the session musicians with a single button press.

Of course, as with other Clavinova CVP models, the 700 series instruments offer a wide selection of realistic voices and accompaniment styles, including Super Articulation Voices, and on the CVP-709 even Super Articulation 2 Voices. Additionally, the CVP-709 includes Audio Styles.

The CVP-700 series is unrivaled when it comes to learning, entertainment and creativity, thanks to a large selection of features such as guide lights, recording options and wireless connectivity. The CVP-700 series is compatible with various iOS apps, for example the Chord Tracker. This app detects the chord sequence of an audio song on your iOS device and transfers it to the Clavinova.
