This do-it-yourself bass kit in the proven JB design includes all the components you need to build and customize a fully functional electric bass. It is suited to beginners with an interest in hands-on projects as well as experienced musicians who value an individual instrument with a personal touch.
Sturdy construction and selected materials
The body keeps the overall weight comfortable and provides a balanced fundamental resonance, ideal for a wide range of bass sounds. It is paired with a bolt-on maple neck that delivers a direct response, high stability and precise feel. The rosewood fingerboard offers comfortable playability and a clear response across the entire neck.
Versatile single-coil pickup configuration
Two single-coil pickups deliver a clearly defined, articulate and cutting bass sound. This configuration offers a range of distinct tones and is ideal for rock, pop, funk, blues and many other styles of music. The passive electronics provide a direct, dynamic response without tone-shaping circuits.
Complete freedom with the finish
All wooden parts are supplied unfinished, giving you complete freedom to paint, stain or oil them. Whether you prefer a natural wood finish, a solid color or a custom design, this electric bass kit gives you maximum creative freedom. All routing and drilling is already prepared, making assembly structured and efficient.
