Get ready and take your performance to the next level with the Player II Modified series. These versatile instruments come equipped with important upgrades for the modern guitarist and bassist and are built to handle whatever you put them through.
The Player II Modified Active Jazz Bass is a classic bass designed for the modern player. Everything about the neck is optimized for fast, fluid playability, from the neck with Modern "C" profile and silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable 9.5" fretboard in rosewood or maple with rolled edges and 20 medium jumbo frets. The alder body provides the classic Fender tone and is available in a variety of exciting new finishes.
The Noiseless Player II pickups deliver the classic Jazz Bass sound while eliminating unwanted noise. The brand-new active preamp with active/passive tone control and EQ section gives the player the perfect tool to dial in their favorite tone. The HiMass bridge with 4 string saddles, tapered-shaft tuners and the TUSQ nut combine to provide incredibly stable tuning, even during the most demanding performances.
