Versatile Line6 Multi-Effect Pedal for Guitar!
The POD Express is an ultra-portable amp and effects processor that lets you take your sound anywhere. Its simple controls and models derived from the HX family deliver outstanding tone quality and an authentic playing feel.
The POD Express offers musicians seven amps, seven cabs and 17 distortion, modulation, reverb and delay effects — including a looper — and can be powered by three AA batteries (included) or an optional 9V power supply.
The POD Express Black is an ultra-portable amp/effects processor that gives you a sound toolbox for crafting classic and modern high-gain tones. Simple controls make tweaking quick, while models from the HX processor family provide exceptional tone and feel. Use the free POD Express Edit app for deeper tone editing. Power via three AA batteries (included) or an optional 9V power supply.
LED Ring
Seven multicolor LED segments light up to indicate different parameter functions. A red LED marks the selected amp model when the AMP encoder is turned. If you hold the ALT button and turn the AMP encoder or an effect knob, the LED segments display the corresponding value. When turning an effect knob, the LED segments (1–7) show the level of the currently selected effect.
Tuner
Hold the TAP footswitch to activate the tuner. Pluck a string and tune it until the LEDs around the AMP knob all light green. Press any switch to exit.
Tempo Settings
Tap the TAP switch repeatedly to set the tempo that time-based parameters like modulation rate and delay time should sync to.
Amp Models
Explore the amp models: turn the AMP knob to select an amp model, or set it to the six-o'clock position to use no amp. LED segments 1–7 indicate the current model (no LEDs lit when no amp is selected). Hold the ALT button to adjust the gain, mid, bass and treble controls for amp models marked with silver indicators.
Explore Presets
Hold the ON and TAP footswitches simultaneously for one second to enter preset selection mode. The preset selection is shown by the position of the LED segment around the AMP knob. Turn the AMP knob clockwise or press TAP to select or queue the next preset. There are 21 preset slots in total, the first seven of which are loaded with factory presets (indicated by white LEDs).

Anyone who wants to practice with headphones will also be well served. With a Kirstein voucher I got the part for a more than fair price. Shipping etc. was punctual and great - there was nothing to complain about.
How does it sound? I have a few reels on my social media channels: @musikselbstvermarkter
Conclusion: a great, felixible part - even if tube fetishists should not expect miracles here - at an incredibly favorable price/performance ratio in view of the many possible applications!
