GEWA Select Banjo 6-String

Banjo unpacked, tuned through and I could start right away! The banjo offers a very good price-performance ratio and has a beautiful sound. It is pleasing that the string action is not higher than on my acoustic guitars and I do not have to readjust anything. In order not to have to retrain, I deliberately chose a 6-string banjo. I also play a little electric violin and mandolin, which are both tuned like a 4-string banjo G-D-A-E, but I have a little trouble remembering the chords on the mandolin. A small drawback is that there is no pickup built in, that would have been an extra cherry on the cake! But a case is included in the price, which is very stable and well made.

Right at first sight, the banjo impresses with its simple, straightforward elegance, its clean, flawless workmanship and its rich sound . The flush I had to readjust something, now it is almost perfect. At the moment I use every free minute to explore the sound secrets of the instrument.

Delivery and service just great - the banjo has convinced me completely - an instrument without frills but just for beginners absolutely suitable - the tuning holds - the string action super - the processing clean and without defects.
Unfortunately, my wife immediately recognized these advantages and immediately "tore" the beautiful banjo under the nail.
Now I probably have to order a new banjo from Kirstein ... what the heck.
