Unfortunately, the drop already pulls at a semitone some treble and brilliance, which increases with each semitone more.
It also has a "delay" which also increases with each semitone more.
Up to 1.5 tones, however, both is acceptable, you just have to get used to it briefly.
But I can recommend it unreservedly, especially as a beginner, if you want to play along songs and do not have 3 guitars.
