The DigiTech Drop is a pedal designed specifically for down-tuning electric guitars with polyphonic operation. The entire guitar can be tuned from one semitone up to a full octave lower. This means deep tunings without changing guitars. The DigiTech Drop also features a momentary switch that turns the footswitch into a button, making the Drop a true performance pedal with impressive effects like lightning-fast pitch jumps.

The Drop uses the powerful polyphonic pitch transposition effect (drop tune) from the Whammy DT and now offers this effect in a compact package that can easily be used on a pedalboard. Drop lets you retune your guitar by transposing your guitar signal down by up to an octave in half-step intervals (1 semitone each).

To use the Drop pedal, activate the effect with the footswitch (the LED lights up when the effect is on). Then turn the effect selector to choose the desired drop tune interval and set the "Momentary" switch to the desired mode.
