The CM-400 is a contact microphone with piezoelectric elements that transmits vibrations directly to the tuner by attaching to the instrument. The CM-400 allows for even more precise tuning than the microphone on the tuner itself and lets the instrument’s own sound be recognized more reliably, especially when practicing with a large group or in other noisy environments where the sound is easily affected by ambient noise.

Durable, Interruption-Free Cable

The cable, known for efficient sound transmission, is made from a material with a soft and flexible wire jacket. The slotted design of the connection between clip and cable reduces cable stress and makes breakage less likely.

Switch to a More Stable Mini Plug

The output terminal for connecting to the tuner housing now features a new mini plug that works well with the TM-70T and ensures stable tuning.

Clip Section for Secure Attachment to Various Instruments

The clip’s maximum width is 30 mm, and the inner rubber part is designed to attach to any instrument without leaving marks or causing damage. It can be easily and securely fastened to a wide range of instruments, such as the bells of wind instruments, the heads of string instruments (e.g., violin), the heads of guitars, basses, ukuleles, and much more.
