The Pronomic MX8/0 Sub-Multicore Cable is an unterminated 8-channel audio cable for custom wiring in studio, stage and installations. Eight separately constructed signal paths, OFC copper conductors, foil shielding with drain wire and a flexible, durable PVC outer jacket provide a reliable foundation for microphone and line signals. Because the cable is deliberately delivered without XLR connectors and without cable ties, you can route, shorten and terminate it to match your own connection concept.

Eight Signal Paths in a Single Jacket

The MX8/0 bundles eight audio channels in a single outer jacket and is therefore excellent for neat multi-channel wiring. Instead of running multiple single microphone cables in parallel, the sub-multicore gives you a compact solution for recording studios, rehearsal rooms, stages, racks, patch systems and fixed audio installations. The individual conductors are continuously numbered, which makes the eight channels easy to distinguish when routing, stripping and connecting.

OFC Copper Conductors and Shielded Design

The signal conductors are made from OFC copper and are designed for transmitting microphone and line signals. Each channel contains two insulated signal conductors plus a foil shield with drain wire. This construction supports low-interference signal routing and makes the shield easy to terminate during assembly.

Durable, Flexible and Easy to Work With

The flexible PVC outer jacket protects the eight internal conductor bundles and ensures the multicore is easy to route and roll up. Textile fillers inside support mechanical stability and tensile strength.
