I use the device to connect my MIDI piano to a synthesizer app on iOS. You simply plug the two plugs into MIDI-in & MIDI-out, then start the YAMAHA app and the piano is found immediately via Bluetooth. It could hardly be easier!

But after about 3 days it succeeded u. the MIDI - adapter is in use .
However, I would have imagined at this price (44.- €) something more.
With my KB PSR-S970 the adapter is not of great advantage.

Use the Yamaha Bluetooth receiver for a few weeks with my long-time Yamaha PSR 450 keyboard. It is connected via Ipad Air and is used the software Synthesia. Works right away, no delays in the input of the keyboard and the response in Synthesia. Stable connection. No beeping. In my experience, the best solution to establish a midi connection using a terminal device. For Ios to recognize the receiver, Synthesia must have recognized it first. Ios will then also find the Bluetooth receiver.
