Me and my roommate wanted to learn guitar together. Since he already has one and can play a bit, I bought the Yamaha. It looks fancy... but the sound is inharmonious although it was tuned by a ranklippen tuner. Unlike my roommate's guitar, it sounds horrible. His didn't cost over 150€ (we don't remember exactly where from or how much but that it wasn't really more expensive). I wonder if good sides could save the sound or if it's just the wood used vllt or the body... there are many reasons for worse sound. I am very disappointed and don't like to play it because I don't like how inharmonic it sounds. If I hadn't had the direct comparison, my untrained ear might not have noticed it so much, but you can still hear that it doesn't sound harmonious to brassy. Very sad.

My first guitar and am very excited about the style processing and sound.
I play for two weeks and do not get genung of the sound.

Shipping and delivery were great - everything worked great.
After playing the guitar for about 1 year now and practicing almost daily, I am still thrilled with the C40.
For a beginner, this was just the ticket. Not the cheapest but not overpriced either.
The 1 point deduction comes from the fact that the string action was much too high and I had to have it corrected first.

The guitar set arrived quickly, very well packaged. The guitar sounds beautiful. I can't give a professional rating, but I just like it and enjoy practicing on it.

Delivery took longer than expected but after contacting them they communicate delivery status very well. The guitar looks solid and has good quality material and sounds nice. I wouldn't mind paying a little more and getting a better quality carrying case instead of not using this and buying a solid shell case to protect the guitar while traveling. Overall I am happy with the purchase and I would consider them for future purchases!

This guitar was purchased for an 11 year old girl. (she is about 150m tall)
She is just starting lessons and is doing well with this instrument.
The sound is pleasant, the size suitable and the bag useful for the way to lessons.
Spare strings are always useful too.
Tuning pitch and picks are not so necessary and the learning booklet is determined by the teacher anyway.
All in all, we are very happy with the overall package. :)

I wanted to learn guitar and have found out through online research that the Yamaha C40 is a very good entry-level model. After a short search I came across the shop here where I found the Yamaha C40 set.
