It's a perfect fit and goes a long way toward making up for the shortcomings of a more affordable instrument—I can't recommend it highly enough.
Good mouthpiece, full-bodied sound

My daughter started out and couldn't get the lower notes right with the mouthpiece that came with the instrument. The teacher then recommended this mouthpiece and it has worked wonderfully ever since. We can highly recommend it, especially for beginners
Perfect also for beginners

We have a borrowed saxophone from the music club, with its mouthpiece I brought out almost no sound. With the new Yamaha mouthpiece it is very easy. Never thought that the difference is so huge!
