With felt and plastic side. The plastic side is important when you play e-drum with mash, so it does not break always with the plastic side!

Been playing a DW5000 for 20 years and now wanted to try a DW9000. My 5000 wiggles like a cow's tail but runs like a charm. Unfortunately, I could not get the setting on the very well made DW9000 to satisfy me. Maybe I should have tried for hours more, I didn't have the stamina. For rehearsal I got the "Xdrum Pro" set. I immediately put this foot machine aside, because I thought that machines that cost hundreds of Euros are simply better. No way! Before a bigger gig I wanted to try out the XDrum Pro foot machine. Super good! This machine was better than all the others. And now the gig came. With the XDrumm Pro I was able to play the 4 hour program like never before. It is fast and after 4 hrs I could still play complicated beats without any problems and there was no cramp in my feet. My conclusion, the XDrum Pro beats all my 4 foot machines. A big compliment to this product. Full marks.

Solid foot machine that keeps what it promises.
I've been playing this model for a while and am very satisfied. Therefore, I now have a second of them on the other set. The only drawback of the older is a slight bearing play, which is not noticeable in normal operation. Whether this is wear or has always been so I do not know.

For me as a beginner, is perfectly adequate and robust.
