Overall, very nice kit.
Only weakness is the hit-hat / pedal interaction. But this is the biggest challenge for all electronic kits.

Great set as a starter

Realistic feel with the mesh heads, equipment for the beginner (like me) more than sufficient. Excellent packaging, assembly quickly done. Stability satisfactory, but for the price quite acceptable. And complete with foot machine and Hi Hat pedal, which are incomprehensibly missing in many sets. So far very satisfied.

For a casual player like me is a perfectly adequate and great e drum. Comes almost very close to a real drum kit. Super I find the huge selection of sounds and the individual setting options.

Hello, once briefly beforehand.
I'm a newbie to drums, although I've been playing on a "natural set" from Pearl for over a year. Playing together with friends in my basement didn't work very well because of the volume. So I had to get an electric drum and decided to buy a used Roland TD 1 KV. I was completely enthusiastic and wanted more. So I sold the Roland again and?
A new Roland was out of the question, unfortunately much too expensive. Used the demanded prices are unfortunately also completely spoiled. Thus times the large Internet search started. Result: I found the XDrum DD-530 at Kirstein.
Test results, reviews and price were all damn good and then still 60 days money back. You can't go wrong. I ordered it right away.
After four days it arrived, I immediately set it up and off to the Yamaha PA.
Now after more than two months and every day at least an hour of practice, I'm still thrilled.
No failures, no signs of wear, the module does its job and sounds after some settings, to my sensation, also very good.
I can only recommend it, it does not always have to be the Mercedes as a hobby device.
Yesterday I ordered the add-on, so another Tom and a basin.
There is a small deduction but then with the basins. They could be a little more sensitive.
Conclusion: I have a good feeling with and on the E-Drum and would buy it again.

I'm super satisfied, the construction ran without complications BUT when assembling the foot machine has the thread for the screw to fix the clapper turned through without the I have used even rudimentary much force. So the whole assembly (actually the whole foot machine) is now useless for the clapper.
I am lucky that I could borrow an old foot machine from a friend so that I can now devote myself to playing and the technique. (Therefore 1 star less)
Otherwise I am fully satisfied for now. Shipping was super fast!

Together with other musicians, we are creating our own recording studio and we needed an electronic drum set that doesn't cost a lot of money both to rehearse our own tracks and to use as midi for VSTs. The sound is fundamental for those who make Music, so it becomes necessary to have instruments that allow the best possible quality. This drum kit offers a lot for the price.
Without exaggerating, I can safely say that I have heard more expensive drums sounding worse than this one.

It comes in a bulky box, yet not very heavy (about 26 kgs), and you can easily carry it around by yourself. Inside, everything is divided into several smaller packages, with bits of polystyrene between some of them. At the bottom, when you remove these packages and lift a cardboard sheet, you find the structure. This is wrapped in plain plastic bags, and carefully placed in spaces created to keep the various tubes separate. I would have liked to see some polystyrene under these too, or at least a double layer of cardboard. The main packaging is thick, but not so thick as to prevent water from getting through in case it falls into clumsy hands (not my case).

Assembly is not at all difficult and the kit also includes the keys needed to tighten the various components. The manual, although not in Italian, is Ikea style and then there are the various drawings that guide the user to the correct assembly. I assembled it by myself and it took me less than an hour, doing things calmly. After assembling everything and connecting the control unit, I turned it on.
I must say that the structure is pretty solid.

The control unit controls are quite intuitive, although you need the manual to understand some setting items. I would say that the customization is really good, allowing you to change the touch sensitivity, the reverb, the type of sound of each pad, the pitch, and several other functions related to the sound you want. Everything, of course, can be saved in memory, thus creating different styles according to your needs.

As I said, the sound reproduced is better than some more expensive drums. Although far from the sound of an acoustic, the definition is good and I really think that an average listener would not notice the difference, especially these days where electronic drums are the order of the day.
Playing it you get a good feeling, and it doesn't fail to entertain. The response of the pads is really good, even if I found some lag on the cymbal stop, and the rim shot of the snare doesn't drive me crazy, also because it seems to lack of intensity perception. And if I have to be honest, the only faults I've found so far are these two. The cymbals (crash and ride) also perceive the change of touch according to the zone, so the sound varies if you hit in the middle of the cymbal or on the edge. Even when played at great speed, the response of the various pads will not lag, always giving you a very good feeling of affinity with the instrument.

In conclusion, this is definitely a good drum kit that offers a lot for the price at which it is sold, entering in a medium range suitable for both amateurs and professionals.

excellent product, very easy to assemble, the skins have excellent performance and are very close to those of acoustic drums, everything as in the description. The toms respond to the shots in a very faithful. I recommend it to those who can not have an acoustic but wants sounds and sensitivity of almost the same level. my daughter is thrilled. In some ways it is even better than the acoustic, offering the possibility in a single instrument of many sounds.

A really versatile, nice product , for a very reasonable price. A lot of features, good for learning, practicing or for a live show at all. The set is also expandable, which is a good extra.

I am a beginner and have been using the drum set for a few days. An online course shows me the first exercises and I am already making small progress. The drum set is really great for the price. However, I have exchanged the foot machine because it did not fit me well. A Tama Iron Cobra is now under the drums.

First of all, I'm a complete beginner. I do practice at drum school on a Roland professional edrum set and on a Pearl acoustic set. My first edrum at home was a rubber pad based one; it was a standard component set like dozens you can find online. The rubber gave some feedback but what it was lacking was really the kick pad which was very low on volume even with all setups available. Then I gave it back for the hi - hat pedal failure. So I've been searching through the web since weeks carefully to find out an affordable set (around 500 euros which seems to be the minimum price for a serious beginner set). Mesh was not mandatory but since I was practicing on a Roland Vdrum set I was willing to get closer feedback from pads as possible.
It's been some days I'm practicing on this 530 set and, frankly, for that price I think there's nothing comparable in the whole market for a beginner (and, who knows, maybe also for a more experienced player).
Delivery has been lightning fast and fully trackable, package solid and assembling a breeze. The quality seems truly genuine,
Pad response and feedback is impressive, you can't describe. Just try it.
Sound module works good, sounds are from good to very good; the learning functions are very, very useful and force you to practice, practice and practice again. I've set the module on the central bar to keep an eye at the metronome without keeping my head turned on the right side where the module usually is connected.
The module is also expandable if you get a grip with drums so really at this moment I can't find any flaw. I'll update my review in the future after some months of use.
A very, very good set. If you're a beginner and want to practice seriously without breaking the bank there is no better choice.

A great electric drum set. The assembly together with my six-year-old son has made fun. I would have found it better if the rack would be pre-assembled. Who has no drum stool and no headphones, should think directly to the co-order.

Only the basins are loud you hear more the beat on the basin than the sound.

For the price really a very decent drum set. I had bought me 8 years ago one of the predecessors, but this is virtually at the same price as then already a quantum leap. The delivery by Kirstein was as usual very fast. The assembly of the set goes despite instructions in English to about 1.5 hours without problems. The foot machine I find contrary to other reviews actually quite passable. The toms and the cymbals are also good. Only criticism on my part: the stop function for the cymbals works only sproradisch (maybe I just do not check it correctly ?), but there is also nothing to read out from the instructions, what I do there possibly wrong. And the controller for the hihat should actually also have a half-open position, I obviously don't have that much sensitivity either: it's either open or closed.
Nevertheless: for hobby drummers who are looking for something for the small purse, from my point of view absolutely recommendable.

Astreines Drumset. Stable linkage, clean triggers and is really fun with the mesh heads, which you can adjust as desired. The sounds sound good out of the box - there are plenty of experimental sounds too - but really get into it when played via PC with the right software. There's no latency from the drum and cabling via USB is easy.

The DD-530 is very well suited for beginners. With the mesh heads, it has a feature set that is usually only found in sets over 1000 euros. The sounds are good and can be expanded and improved via midi. The mesh pads react very well and can be played dynamically. Unfortunately, the crash pads and the hi-hat pad do not always react exactly and are in need of improvement, but with time you develop a feeling where you have to hit so that they react. It's also a pity that you don't have the cables individually, so you're a bit hindered in adapting the set to your personal wishes. The volume is within limits and with a pedestal you can also minimize the impact sound of the bass drum, so as not to annoy his neighbors.

All in all, a good entry-level set with which you can have a lot of fun.

For my son, who plays not long but very passionate drums, the set was an absolute enrichment. NAch very fast delivery easy to assemble, good sound over headphones, many verscheidene sounds possible. We are happy with it.

I wanted to start playing drums for a long time, but I didn't have a rehearsal cellar or anything else where I could play. Since I live in a rented apartment it is with the drumming in the apartment also rather bad than right. So I bought this e-drumset and am absolutely convinced of this product!

When I connect the headphones, you hear thanks to the mesh-heads only minimal "pocking" of the pads, which does not even reach the housemates of the house. The set also has a nice tutorial integrated, with which the entry into the world of drums is very easy gestltet. The exercises can also be done faster or slower. Apart from the many different drum types that are pre-selectable, you can set the sounds for each individual pad yourself and thus create your own drum set and save! Also the sensitivity of the individual pads can be adjusted so that they do not have to be played so hard to make a sound.

I am very happy with the quality of the battery and the good sound it provides when I connect it to a PC.
