Although the trend is towards solderless wiring on guitars/basses, most instruments still have soldered connections on board. For that, the tools included here (especially the soldering iron, the desoldering pump and the multimeter) are indispensable!
Sure, you can get everything separately. But here you get it as a package together in a bag for an absolute bargain price! I'm thrilled with the set, and it also serves me very well outside of musical tinkering!
