After struggling with the heavy original case for my Lechgold tuba for a long time, the gig bag is a real joy! It fits perfectly and I can now fit the tuba in the trunk without having to fold down the back seat. I am particularly impressed by the price/performance ratio.

I bought the gig bag for the Mardi-Brass KT-30. I have never found a better fitting gig bag for a tuba.
It is light and provides sufficient protection. It is very comfortable to wear, even when cycling. The chest strap keeps it in place and prevents it from slipping.
The straps can be fixed in place thanks to the construction and do not lengthen when worn, as often happens with other gig bags. However, this makes adjustment a little trickier. The outside pockets fulfill their purpose, I can fit a thin folder, a music stand and a small water bottle. The pocket for the mouthpiece is housed in the lid. This means that the mouthpiece is also well protected and doesn't get in the way. I really like the fact that it is closed with a zipper, so there is no risk of the mouthpiece falling into the tuba during transportation, as is often the case with Velcro fasteners.
An additional handle attached to the body makes it easier to load, whether into the trunk, onto the back seat or into the box of the cargo tricycle.
The handle is comfortably padded.

The bag fits my Melton R2011 perfectly and is also very well padded all round, so that it is well protected. It is very comfortable to wear with the padded backpack straps. However, I have sewn on a hip belt by hand from an old rucksack. Now the tuba is even more comfortable to wear.

The bag fits perfectly for the specified Symphonia 3.
The backpack strap is very well padded so that the gig bag sits well on the back and the tuba can be carried easily. And the front compartment is large enough to carry the sheet music comfortably in the gig bag. All in all, a very good gig bag.

The case was far too heavy for my daughter. With the backpack, she carries the tuba herself.

The first impression of the quality is good, but from experience you have to see how it looks in a year or two with weekly use.
My old one was better in terms of packing the tuba, you could put the big bag there and put the tuba in easily, but the straps tore.

Have a B-tuba Meltin special. The bag is perfect. Have the feeling the tuba is well protected, can be packed well and wears great.

My old gig bag was pretty quickly broken and around 100€ expensive. This one is very stable, lighter and cheaper. It fits perfectly to my tuba (Wunderlich, ca. 1930). The bag is big enough for a large music folder + mouthpiece bag or similar.

Great product for a good price. Have given the funnel size and height of our children's tuba and I was suggested by Kirstein this gig bag as size fitting. We are very satisfied, even around the funnel it is thickly padded and much, much smaller, lighter and more manageable than our old hard case.
