I have it not so long in use, but am so far very satisfied. Also, the tripod is quite stable for the price. Since I am a bass player and backing vocalist and do not sing every song of a set, I have decided for the switch. However, since it is relatively easy to move around, there is also a danger in that.... For lead singers who sometimes take the mic in their hands, I rather recommend the variant without switch.
