Bought four because too many feet stepped on the three-legged stands for me.
I bought additional short outriggers and can adjust the stands.
The hand force to screw the stand tightly to the base is high.
Tightened with non-slip gloves, but I did not have to tighten until dismantling.
The height adjustment holds sufficiently tight, but even here a little force must be applied.
The S-stands are still waiting for their first use.
One I have here with arm and micro stand.
So far, the stand has not slipped down.
About the longevity I can not say anything for the above reason.
Transport the "plate" still makes me think.
Oh yes, in my six microphones bag I get from these loosely twelve.
Where to put the plates remains.
I am satisfied.
They will do their job.
