While looking for inexpensive UHF wireless microphones, I came across this set from McGrey, which I then ordered. My expectations were not very high, given the price and what I have tried so far in this price range. I was all the more pleased that these were clearly exceeded here. You get two really decent handheld mics at a great price. Bravo McGrey and Kirstein!!!

The output level is so high that you can work really well with it and still have reserves (this is not always the case with many competitors in the lower price range). There's nothing wrong with the sound quality either. It's not outstanding or brilliant. I would describe it as pleasantly neutral, without overemphasizing certain frequencies. You don't have to make many adjustments to the mixer because it is already well tuned (especially for speech).

The dynamic range is also good. You have to really shout into it to get it to overdrive. A proximity effect can be heard. For optimum results, the microphone should be held as close to the mouth as possible. Of course, there is a risk of "microphone gobbling" for the inexperienced, as it sounds much thinner further away. The robust basket has a pop protection inside that works surprisingly well. The quality offered is really good for presentations. However, the microphones are not really suitable for high-quality vocal transmission. However, they can be used for fun or karaoke.

The radio transmission is also flawless. There is no hissing, humming or any other noise. I can't detect any major latency either. The frequencies are fixed, so they cannot be changed afterwards. You have to know that! The receiver has a mono jack output that can be used to connect both microphones to a mixer input. If you want to mix both microphones individually, you can connect both channels separately to the mixing console via the two XLR outputs. I think that's a great thing.

The workmanship and feel are in line with the price segment (good). Both the microphones and the receiver are made of lightweight plastic. However, the feel of the handheld transmitters is surprisingly good and they are not too light. They sit well in the hand and the grip and switching noises are also kept within limits. I have tried much worse candidates.

Conclusion: These are by far the best wireless microphones I have come across in the lowest price segment. So if you are looking for decent wireless microphones for moderation and, with restrictions, also for vocals, I can recommend this set without reservation. Good things don't have to be expensive!

Incredible what you get here for the price. Have now had the set on an indoor and on an outdoor event as a mob DJ in use. Convinces fully and completely. At the outdoor event there were some dropouts at 50m distance, when approaching the receiver they were gone. Indoor there were no problems at about 25m. If I am too close to the speakers there is feedback.

The article corresponds to the price - performance ratio , fully my expectations. in this price segment for moderation, DJ or similar with 2 Micros good in quality and in the voice transmission. A pop protection should still always be used .If a sound adjustment available ,then correct the bass response. <otherwise completely o.k. !

this set does not need to hide against a Shure system! it sounds clear and powerful if you still work a little on the EQ in the middle and treble!

but who thinks he put the set and screw a Shure head on it will be disappointed, because the transmitter is not designed for this!

I was totally surprised by the sound quality of the capsule. Much better and warmer than the Shure PG58 wireless mic. I used it for speech and vocals, both female and male voices and turned off the equalizer completely. It comes out with a voluminous sound that sounds extremely clear. At this price, a real surprise! The capsules can be changed (fit eg from Shure).

Whether you connect via XLR or 6.3 jack, it has a super clear sound.
Would buy it again and again!

Ordered the set for my dad, it will be used on a football field for the press conference.

After unpacking I thought, wow the receiver is but light, the processing is functional, not particularly but such a micro seems to hold out even times a fall. Have tested the combo on a good PA. The voices are a bit nasal, but you can easily counteract with nem EQ, the sound is clear and distinct and the radio connection has worked perfectly through the house to the driveway to the neighbor (through four concrete walls and 25 meters as the crow flies).
The price is unique, as a vocal microphone for a karaoke evening certainly great for professional stage performances rather not (my opinion).

The problem is that I wanted a product that covered at least a real distance of 50 meters instead it is not so I was asking if there was any product that at least exceeds 50 meters
