The microphone stand is well machined.
Is somewhat light. Must be adjusted well, the heavy microphone loses balance. Still I must say that not all microphone models fit in there. It is intended for slightly thinner.

The microphone stand for McGrey is very passable for the little money.
What bothers me a bit is the flashy design with "big black dots" on the height regulator, which I did not notice when ordering. But that is a matter of taste.

More disturbing are the sharp-edged outriggers that prevent the legs from folding up. They are so sharp-edged that they have already damaged the cardboard packaging during transport and do not fold in when the legs are folded. This is a design flaw compared to more expensive models.
As long as the stand is used stationary, this does no harm. But if you want to be "on the road" with it, this would possibly be fatal, because guitar or keyboard cases, amplifiers or the like could be considerably affected, scratched or even destroyed by the sharp metal edges.

Since I will use the stand mainly at home, I keep it anyway.

I bought this holder for my son at Christmas and I find it of very good quality considering the price proposed. I am delighted with my purchase.

Don't expect more, it's not a stand for a lot of manipulations, even less on stage; I took these feet for a home studio, where they won't move or move very little, but be careful not to put too heavy microphones with the boom at the maximum...

The tripod actually seems to be quite well made. However, in my copy, unfortunately, the clamping screw for the microphone arm or its thread is defective. Currently, the arm can not be securely clamped. Since this was noticeable when first tried, there was obviously no quality control whatsoever. I have asked for a replacement part.

Microphone stand defective, screw broken off. The smallest rod on the stand does not hold despite my attempts to tighten all screws. I do not recommend it at all
