The monitors run in Zone2 of a Denon AVR in the next room - the difference to 5.1 is clearly audible - something is missing at the bottom, but on their own they are good and fulfill their purpose perfectly.

I had to replace the old boxes with new ones after 15 years. They run nine hours a day in my hair salon. I can not find better ones in this price range. Order, delivery time was all professional and in the best sense. Thank you!

Fast delivery and the best price. What more could you want. Speakers are sound technically as expected, the color white is ok, but no pure or alpine white. For me, rather beige.

Am a studied sound engineer for 35 years. The indestructible jbl is a, as the model name already suggests, monitor box, which was used over time more and more as an all-rounder. The sound is actually, for American terms, as analytically sound-neutral to describe. If people complain that it sounds too mid, it is not because of the box, but because of bad listening habits! With boom boxes and mp3 with dead-compressed "music", you can not evaluate any sound! Today I use the One as a cheap Atmos and surround box.
Have but on tour already mixed now and then with it. The low price, good sound and loudness, magnetically shielded housing, extensive weather resistance make the box an unbeatable all-rounder. Of course it can be better, but not at this price. Who wants sound down in the pit of the stomach just needs a sub to it.

From JBL, nothing else expected. Very good sound. Beautiful speakers. Very well made. My third pair.

I purchased the Control Ones in November, and despite some logistical problems I received them in mid-December.
They sound good and I am satisfied with both the purchase and the seller.

Already had the predecessor (25 years). I could use the existing wall mount. Sound improved again.

The JBL Control 1 Pro speakers incl. wall mount keep, despite manufacturing in China, largely their level: solid sound with clean, clear treble and sufficient bass. Of course, it would still be cooler if JBL would manufacture in the USA again. The set price including bracket is good, the value is right. Shipping was super-fast - gladly again!

Absolute recommendation

Had earlier already JBL Control One hanging in the study, which I liked very much - have then sold them in the course of a move. Now in the new house I wanted to sound the terrace and the conservatory and have positively remembered the JBLs. After there was a consumer and a Pro version, I decided for the PRO and the music house Kirstein as a supplier. Had already purchased the good LED fluorescent tubes for the hobby cellar and garage and the fast and trouble-free delivery have convinced me. It does not always have to be Amazon.
The speakers sound very good on a used Yamaha Pianocraft 810 receiver. Of course no low bass, but from my point of view very neutral with a well controlled, precise upper bass range, clear but not gyroscopic highs and balanced mids - always within the limits of what small bookshelf speakers / monitors can do. Of course, my good old ALR No. 4 on the Yamaha S1000 in the living room can do more, but the sound on the terrace and conservatory is now much better than before with a Bluetooth battery boombox or portable radio.
The often criticized wall brackets do their job from my point of view, the boxes can be easily and from my point of view also secure (do not forget the steel cable - is provided in the manual and should be done so). The steel cable is not included. The holder lets the box float with me approx. 5 cm from the roof beam. As a result, we get sound from a height of about 2.2 m and, for me, listening from the sweet spot results in a nice stereo imaging that I find very airy with easy-to-locate instrument placement.
I can recommend the speakers and Musikhaus Kirsten as a supplier. I'll probably be looking around here for a used U3 Yamaha piano soon too.

The boxes I like the look very well (white), are magnetically shielded and have a great sound. At the weight you notice that is already some quality in it. I would buy again.

Unfortunately, I cannot give a review because the package did not arrive at my house or at the designated pickup shop.

...with my delivery the tweeter was defective at a box. Now the exchange of the box is in progress. Is a little annoying because I had already mounted them.

Der Klang ist, wie ich es von JBL gewohnt bin, schön klar und Sauber. Im Tiefen Bereich habe ich nicht all zu viel erwartet da diese Lautsprecher entsprechend klein sind - hier wurde ich aber echt überrascht! Für die Größe ist der Bass schon recht knackig, da ich nur einen relativ kleinen Studioraum beschallen möchte war auch die Größe und gute Leistung von hoher Bedeutung darum waren die JBL C1 Pro der Favorit. Ich kann nur sagen: ein Klassiker der sich wirklich bewährt, sehr zu empfehlen!

The small speakers surprise with a lot of power despite their small dimensions.
The sound is balanced and treble, mid-range and even a little bass are reproduced well.

Well, in the future we are probably a little more quiet on the road: On a 20 year old Denon receiver with 2 x 60W and in conjunction with a Nubert subwoofer AW440 our little house in the south will again be well sounded.

The speakers can be easily mounted on the wall and aligned using the ball mounts.

The sound is very clear, clean and full - as monitors on my MK2 very satisfactory.

Fast and uncomplicated delivery.

The boxes have the quality that JBL for decades. The only drawback is the wall mount. When tightening the union nut (plastic) you should be careful. For me it is torn. The cast-in bushings for tightening are made of metal, the rest of plastic. Could still be improved.
