Ich hatte schon viele Ibanez in meinem Leben, und auch wenn alle bis jetzt gut waren, so waren die aus Japan immer BESSER.
Diese Gitarre fühlt sich super schnell an, mit einem Hals der so smooth ist, dass man ihn nicht mehr aus der Hand geben will.
Die 5 Pickup positionen geben eine breite vielfalt an sounds, ob Metal, Blues oder Funk, alles klappt gut. Sollte man aber einen ganz besonderen sound suchen für Metal, dann lohnt es sich vielleicht eine gitarre mit EMGs oder FIshman Fluence zu holen (habe ich in meiner ESP) aber die Pickups der Ibanez sind trotzdem im High Gain bereich gut aufgehoben und ich werde sie vorerst nicht wechseln.
Die Edge Brücke ist ein Traum, super Stimmstabil und macht ein schönes flimmern wenn man sie Anstupst.
Alles in einem, klare Kauf Empfehlung für wer eine Ibanez "Prestige" für den halben Preis haben will ;)

The original mother of all REAL all-round guitars. Except for the V7/V8 pickup assembly (very first models had V1/V2) and the now 5-piece Wizzard III neck (87 original also very thin, but just a touch more) identical to the legend that came on the market in 1987. Plays absolutely the same (I also have an 87 at home), sounds equal and the original edge tremolo works as sensational as it did back then. With no other trem can you "buzz" as beautifully as with the 1 Edge :-) Other deviations are insignificant (e.g. saddle mounting only from "above" and no longer "through" the neck).
Soundwise still much closer in the 2/4 positions to a real single coil strat sound like my PRS models or other split pickups. String action stamp de luxe as usual, jumbo frets perfectly dressed. The speed solos almost roll over, upwards there are no limits - but as I said, also the Rock'n'Roll Blues fraction will be happy with the RG550. However, perhaps not guitarists who prefer baseball bat-thick necks, that would possibly be the only.
An absolutely high quality (J.CRAFT Japan) Ibanez at a very fair price. And will last a very long time, if you treat it reasonably well - the workhorse, as you are used to for 30 years :-) And finally I have it in desert yellow, which has already lured me back then (but ultimately became "only" white).
