It is a beautiful guitar, I am very happy! It was delivered within 5 days and was in perfect condition - i was worried a precious guitar would be delicate.
The guitar was well tuned, action is good, and it is a quality product.

You should keep that in mind. It is simply not a US made instrument.
The resemblance is visually astonishing, but in the small details it differs from the original.
It sounds relatively dry, so OK, but somehow not very dynamic without amplification.
Personally, I miss the spirit or the DNA that you get with an ES-355 from the Gibson US factory.

If you look very closely, you can see slight defects in the paintwork. Especially on the f-holes. But you can easily overlook this, especially as the guitar leaves nothing to be desired in terms of playability, sound and settings, at least for me. And at a sensationally fair price. Not forgetting the hard case, which is included in the price. If you can't afford the sister model or don't want to, this is a first-class choice. A clear buy recommendation from me!
Class guitar

Fast and reliable shipping as always. Express surcharge is worthwhile.
Packaging 1 a.
And now to the guitar, it can easily keep up with the original Gibson.
Processing very clean, tuning stable, pickups wonderful sound.
In short, a worthwhile purchase.

Well, what has stood the test of time has a name
whether Epiphone or Gibson
both stand for reliability and character to which you give the right note, whether it requires the harder gait or the softer playing style, both will not let you down when it comes to providing your creativity with the right tool, whether solidbody or semi-acoustic both types stand for this passion that music gives us
as I am actually a member of the other faction
of the everlasting competitor whose name everyone knows, I have to say it feels like a Gibson and looks like its twin sister, but does it sound like one, well it's a guitar that comes so close to the original.
From the dimensions to the equipped picups, the biggest difference is the price, so all in all this guitar Epiphone ES-355 will take its place in the history of guitars, whether it will displace the old lady, we will see my recommendation she has ...

I have had many guitars and almost all of them had defects (even the ones around 5000 - 7000 €)
But now one after the other:
First negative:
- The F-holes are not really varnished on the inside and are frayed at the bottom. Others can do this better at a price of 300 €.
- the pickguard is sharp-edged, it is not rounded, a pickguard for 20,- € is better.
- the bindings on the neck are not as high on the sides as the neck itself, on the body they are also lower than the wood. You can see it and you can feel it.
I have never experienced this before.
- The string action is much too high and the octave purity doesn't fit either. Well, that's normal and relatively easy to correct.
Conclusion:
- Sand the F-holes finely and touch them up with a touch-up pencil
- Remove the pickguard and sand it round
- Adjust string action and octave purity (flatwounds will be fitted anyway)
All in all about 4 hours of work.
I can't correct the difference in height between the bindings and the wood anyway. Maybe that's intentional ???
But now positive:
The sound is already very fine without amplification.
The amplifier then shows off the pickups' skills: the guitar can do everything from blues to funk to hard rock. And without feedback.
The playability is perfect.
That's why I won't be sending the guitar back, despite its manufacturing flaws.
