I chose the tuners because they were exactly the same as the old tuners on a 70's Terada classical guitar that only had one knob broken off.
The mechanics are ok... of course you can't expect a miracle of fine mechanics at this price, but it works backlash free.... Unfortunately, with not quite uniform frictional resistance (therefore only 4 stars).
Price / performance is definitely worth 5 stars.
