I use the EJ26 Custom Light strings now for a while as a live musician.
The strings have the advantage that they are slightly softer than other steel strings. The fingers do not hurt so much.
But they also have a disadvantage. They produce overtones. Hopefully the guest does not hear this but it disturbs the guitar player a bit.

Good strings, can be played wonderfully. Had bought them because I had as a beginner with 012s problems with the fingertips. Now it goes better.

I have not yet put on the strings. But they were there quickly.
