I won a voucher for Kirstein. The trombone I had been using until then had a crack in the bell due to a fall, so I glued it. I have a disability in my hands and can no longer hold a normal trombone, hence the lightweight plastic trombone.
Now, after 5 years, I have treated myself to a new one.
The delivery was fast, the price was very good and I am satisfied with the quality.
What more could you want?

After placing my order, the trombone I ordered arrived on time and intact. Unpacked, assembled, plastic mouthpiece found in the
plastic mouthpiece in the very nice carrying case and already I played the first notes. This plastic trombone exceeded my expectations, even the high notes
even the high notes were immediately blowable. I changed from the plastic mouthpiece to my normal Glassl mouthpiece. The tone was even better. The
quart valve could be moved very well. There was no description in the trombone case. My problem was what to look for when taking care of the trombone and especially the slide. I called the Kirstein company. The employee spoke with me calmly and answered all my questions excellently.
I would always order a wind instrument from the Kirstein company again.

... I bought the black version because:
- this golden one didn't sound so good,
- not so well tuned and
- not so good went off, and also
- the processing was not quite so good (train lock bumped when pulling the train).

Nevertheless, an alternative for outdoors, if you value the look.

I bought this trombone as a practice trombone that I can just throw on the sofa when I feel like playing a few etudes. The quart valve was an important criterion, because my regular trombone also has one and of course I wanted the same conditions when practicing.
So far I really like the trombone, it is very light and easy to play; even as an experienced trombonist I was amazed at what can be achieved with so little money. The quart valve also works well. I will probably change the mouthpiece soon, as I would prefer a metal one, but everything has worked wonderfully out of the box so far.
All in all, I'm very satisfied, but to emphasize once again: for me it's purely a practice trombone. I can't say anything about its use with other instruments.

Package unpacked, trombone oiled, tuning slides creamed, main slide lubricated, immediately tried. Am totally surprised by embouchure and tone quality. My Klier mouthpiece harmonizes well with it.

this is an instrument for everyone. Excellent quality-price ratio which can give desire to children or adults, after having tested, to confirm their interest and to progress then with a more evolved instrument. It gives magnificent low sounds that make you want to continue to discover it!

Sounds and tunes very well for a plastic trombone. All registers respond well with the supplied Plastemundstück, especially the height goes top, and the air goes away well (little "jam feeling").
Only four stars because:
1) the sound with the plastic mouthpiece is relatively dull, i.e. low in overtones (already better with brass mouthpiece),
2) the quart valve, the tuning slides and the slide could go a bit easier.
Otherwise, clear recommendation or the perfect alternative for trombone days, forest services, St. Martin's parades, pyramid push and the like.
Lightweight, neat case with good backpack set with it, and also the instrument is like a feather in the hand (compared to the brass instrument).

Was very positively surprised what this instrument can give. Processing very good. Very suitable for students who want to play quarters, moves to play or practice instrument. Makes me very much fun. The plastic mouthpiece is not the racer, but my normal mouthpiece fits just as well.

The sound is somewhat thin and dull. With a proper mouthpiece but already better. Included is a plastic mouthpiece.

Instrument does what the description promises. Instrument is definitely worth the money.

- Amazingly good sound
- With plastic mouthpiece a little bit dull, with metal mouthpiece (Kühnl&Hoyer - Bolero) much sharper and close to the Bolero
- Unbeatable in weight and price
- Draw very smooth with a slight noise. Lubricating does not bring any advantages. However, I have not yet tried all variants
- Water key and quart lever are a bit undersized. Should be handled carefully

The trombone looks great, but unfortunately I can only give it 3 stars because the slide was totally scratchy and you could feel a dent. You couldn't really see the dent. Every trombonist knows that the slide has to run. Apart from that, I was amazed at the sound this instrument produces, despite its plastic construction. The instrument case was o.k. just due to the price. Perfectly adequate for occasional playing at parades.

A lightweight alternative when I'm on the road and playing outside (e.g. at demos). Easy to handle due to the weight. The cable runs relatively well, I'm used to better from my "tinny" one, but it's okay.
I think the thumb lever for operating the fourth valve could be improved. It works, but has a lot of possible play due to the material properties. Depending on how I hold or press it, the plastic gives way. This means I have to position my thumb more precisely than with the "sheet metal model". Could certainly be improved with a different design.

After an accident at work that affected my left wrist, I'm delighted with the minimal weight! I wouldn't be able to play with the "metal" one at the moment.

Delivery earlier than stated, ordered Wednesday evening, delivered Friday morning. The trombone exceeds my expectations. For my outdoor use super suitable.

Fun instrument, affordable cost, the case provided by Kirstein is excellent.

Delivery was faster than announced. Quality was very good, especially the transport case has surprised me.
